Greater Noida West is the extension of Greater Noida. Starting late 2012, it has rename to Greater Noida (West) and consists of 16 villages .Travel from Greater Noida West to Delhi takes around 30 minutes by Noida-Greater Noida Expressway as the total distance almost 30 km.

The Union government has proposed Taj international airport to be built at Kurikupa near Hirangaon, Jewar in Gautam Budh Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh.
The new proposed international airport is about 72 km from Indira Gandhi International Airport at Delhi and it will cost approximate Rs 5000 crore.
